IMPACT AND ASSESSMENT - BRIDGESTONE INDIA (PROJECT SAMARTHYA)
OVERVIEW AND VISION
Disability often imposes systemic barriers and forced dependency, straining individuals and their families. In India, where over 2.68 crore people live with disabilities (Census 2011), conditions like Cerebral Palsy frequently restrict access to education, employment, and community life due to severe mobility challenges and societal stigma. To address this, Yes! We Can Trust—founded in 2013 by Meenu and Samuel Mani—partnered with Bridgestone India to launch Project Samarthya. Moving beyond conventional aid, this CSR initiative works to dismantle mobility barriers, reshape societal attitudes, and empower persons with disabilities to lead self-directed, independent lives.
PROJECT PRAGATI (ONGOING)
